Trial FAQ

Are invalid clicks blocked during the trial period?

No, but you will be able to see an estimate of invalid clicks, as well as total estimated fraud cost.

Is the trial period free?

Yes, Spider AF offers a free trial for all its products, including Lead Protection. Businesses can easily sign up for the trial on the Spider AF website, allowing them to experience the advantages firsthand. This trial empowers businesses to harness the capabilities of lead form protection and propel their operations to new heights.

How long is the trial?

The trial period typically lasts 14 days, if we later determine that 14 days is not enough data we can extend for free. If you feel like you want to progress to a deeper partnership during the 14 day period we can do so as well. The initial 14 day period will be used as measurement, verification of implementation, and confirming attribution. No action on traffic will be taken by Spider AF.

Dashboard FAQ

Why is the cost just estimated?

Using the historical data, Spider AF estimates the number of clicks that would have occurred from the blocked user if Spider AF did not automatically block the user.

Why is the Frequency Cap not working properly?

There is also the issue of timing when a large number of clicks occur. If a large number of clicks occur in a short period of time, they may be clicked before they are reflected in the Spider AF block list.

E.g., Google’s exclusion by IP is updated once a day, so it is impossible to prevent clicks before the exclusion list of the IP list is updated. However, the damage should be minimized.

How do I to setup audience?

For google, turn on "AUDIENCE EXCLUSION" from this page to set up the audience. If you turn on "SYNC IP", IP exclusion will also be set up.

Why do I see the same IPs during one day if my Frequency Cap was set as 2 clicks / 24 hours?

It's important to note that the effectiveness of this IP blocking depends on how promptly the Network updates their Audience Lists to stop displaying ads to flagged users. Sometimes it is observed that most of the flagged clicks occurred within a short timeframe (20-30 minutes) and the Network Audience Lists may not refresh instantaneously.
