Getting started

To use audience exclusion with Taboola, you first create an audience tag. To do this, you create a Taboola Pixel, which we use to build the audience for exclusion.

How to create an audience tag

  1. Log in to Taboola Ads.

  2. In the top menu, click Audiences, then click + New Audience.

  3. Click Continue.

  4. Under Audience Name, copy and paste this name:

    savift

    Select Event.

  5. Under Event Name, copy and paste the same name:

    savift

Move your mouse over the pixel code, then click Copy to Clipboard. Paste this text into the Spider AF contact window. This is the first of two codes that we need.

  6. Under Include People from, type in 180.

Under Exclude Audience from all Campaigns, select Yes.

    Click Create Audience.

  7. In the top menu, click Tracking, then click Create Pixel.

If you do not see the Create Pixel button, you likely created a pixel already. In that case, click View Code.

  8. Click Copy to Clipboard. Paste this text into the Spider AF contact window. This is the second of the two codes that we need.

We can guide you through this setup with screen sharing. Please contact us if you have any trouble.
