How to publish audience tags with Microsoft Ads

This article explains how to publish audience tags with your Microsoft Ads to set up audience exclusion.

Introduction.

This section explains how to publish Microsoft Ads audience tags for audience exclusions.

How to publish audience tags

  1. *Log in to your Microsoft Ads account and go to Tools*. Then, select UET Tag from the drop-down menu.

  2. On the UET Tag Page, click on +Create button located at the bottom of the screen.

  3. You will be redirected to the URT tag creation screen.

    • UET tag name: in the name please enter safivt.

    • UET tag description: you can also enter any description. (However, it’s not required).

      Select Save and Next.

  4. For the tag setting method, select Install your own tags and select Next at the bottom of the screen.

    Copy the ID corresponding to the pixel ID in this tag.

    It should be in the format of var o={ti: "pixel ID #"};
  5. To Add your Microsoft Ads Pixel ID in Spider AF, Select Ad Networks from the left tab menu under “Ad Fraud Protection” under the integration menu in your administration dashboard.

  6. Once inside the ‘Ad Network’ integrations screen, Select Microsoft Ads, and click the Add a new Microsoft Ads Pixel ID on the Ad Platforms menu.

  7. On the new screen Set the pixel ID copied in step 5 in the “Microsoft Tag ID” box.

    Please Note: If several Spider AF analysis tags have been set up, please select the tracker you wish to add this to.

  8. Click Add Microsoft Tag ID to complete audience tag publishing.
